Battlefield Acupuncture is an ear acupuncture technique that specializes in “pain relief, muscle relaxation, and stress relief”.

Originally created to relieve pain and stress in U.S. veterans, Battlefield Acupuncture (Battlefield Acupuncture) has no noticeable adverse reactions despite its excellent immediate results.

It is effective not only for acute pain but also for long-lasting chronic severe pain, and its properties can be expected to be used in combination with or in place of medications.

Simple treatment with acupuncture needles

Battlefield Acupuncture, named by Retired Colonel Nimzoff, a U.S. Air Force surgeon, is a treatment method that uses special acupuncture needles called ASP needles on five ear acupuncture points that are effective in controlling pain and anxiety.

Although it is a simple and low-impact treatment, it has excellent reproducibility and immediate results, and can be effectively used as first aid treatment for disasters, sports, and other “on-the-spot” situations.

Battlefield Acupuncture at Toyota Acupuncture Salon HAL uses ASP-needle, which is imported from France through a formal procedure.

ASP-needles must be left in place and the patient must come back to the clinic a few days later for needle removal.

ASP is an unapproved medical device in Japan, imported by a physician and acupuncturist from Sedatelec SAS (France), and there are no other approved medical devices in Japan with the same ingredients and performance. We have obtained the following certifications

At Battlefield Acupuncture, we first use two different types of electronic hot moxibustion devices to check the response to soft and hard thermal stimulation, and then decide what to do next.

Please be assured that acupuncture needles will not be applied immediately.

Battlefield Acupuncture is fast-acting and reproducible, but while it is effective in many people, it is not effective in some (about 75% of patients feel it is effective).

If you do not see improvement with the stimulation of the electronic hot moxibustion device, we will suggest other treatment methods.
